Former India skipper Virat Kohli has been lighting the ongoing 20-20 World Cup 2022 on fire. In the five games he played, he has scored 246 runs averaging 123 including three half-centuries. He has been dismissed only twice, i.e against South Africa and Zimbabwe. Bowlers from Pakistan, Netherlands, and Bangladesh couldn’t get a hold of a player who was struggling with the bat before the Men’s Asia Cup 2022.
In these games, he scored his three half-centuries of the tournament. Meanwhile, the 2007 winners qualified for the semis. As they finished first in the Group Two table in the Super 12 round, they will play the second semifinal against England. With three days ahead of the game, a video of Kohli surfaced on the internet. Apparently, he was seen passing by inside an airport.
In the video, he was been welcomed by playing music by the fans. In reply, the former India skipper waved a bit before exiting the airport. The video is going viral on the internet.

India would be looking to get closer to winning the title. Since 2013, they are yet to win a World Championship. Against England, they have played three knockout games across tournaments. In the 1983 World Cup final, the Kapil Dev-led side thrashed the Three Lions by six wickets. Four years later, the Englishmen returned the favor by beating India in the semis. In the 2013 Champions Trophy, both teams met each other for the last time up until now.
In the rain-curtailed game, India snatched the ever-elusive trophy after beating the Alastair Cook-led side by five runs. Even though the Men In Blue have a decent record in knockouts against England, they would need to do better than they did in Super 12. There are a few issues that need to be dealt with. For instance, Rohit Sharma needs to score big as he has been searching for his form in the ongoing tournament.
