Former Pakistan pacer, Wasim Akram was known for his deadly swinging deliveries during his playing days as his partnership with Waqar Younis and Shoaib Akhtar was quite fearsome for opponent’s batters. This 56-year-old former player recently shared a video on his official Twitter account where he had been seen bringing back his old days while bowling in a charity match.

It was a charity match which was being played in the memory of late Australia cricketer Shane Warne. This former Australian spinner died earlier this year of a suspected cardiac arrest while holidaying in Thailand. Hence, former cricketers played this match in memory of this famous cricketer. In this match, Akram bowled an unplayable yorker to former English batter, Mike Atherton as he got dismissed. Hence, the Pakistan legend shared the same video on his account with a cheeky dig at his former International rival.

Here is the shared video:

“We might get older but some things will stay the same!” – Wasim Akram wrote

Pakistan legend Wasim Akram shared that video where he got the wicket of Atherton with that vicious ball. He wrote that some things will remain the same despite they are getting old day by day. His post came up with a captain, saying: “Sorry @Athersmike we might get older but some things will stay the same!” It was a cheeky shot at his former county teammate.
