Australia’s opening batter David Warner is known to never disappoint his fans. He has been loved by fans from Australia and India mostly and other parts of the world. Meanwhile, he once again won fans’ hearts with his gesture. Apparently, in the dying moments of the game, a young fan was caught on camera asking for Warner’s Australia team shirt.

In reply, the left-hander pulled out a placard that reads ‘Get one of Marnus’. The incident happened during the 45th over of the second innings, with the Aussies needing only 11 runs to win. Furthermore, another fan joined and asked for Marnus Labuschagne’s shirt. The video of the entire incident has been going viral on the internet.

Talking about the game, the Kangaroos have taken a lead of 1-0 in the three-match series. After winning the toss, they put their Ashes rivals in first. The Three Lions who recently won the 20-20 World Cup 2022, looked clueless for the most part of their batting. They lost seven wickets for just 199 runs. However, thanks to David Malan’s century and a good fight from the lower-order batters, they reached 287/9.

For the visitors, England, no one apart from Malan could cross the 50-run mark. For the home team, the likes of skipper Pat Cummins and leggie Adam Zampa took three wickets each. On the other hand, Marcus Stoinis and Mitchell Starc took one wicket each. In reply, the Yellow brigade chased down the target in just 46.5 overs and won by six wickets. Top-order batters such as Warner, Travis Head, and Steve Smith scored the fifties each and provided a great foundation for the win.

After the win, Cummins said “Fantastic performance, a team performance. We came in here really fresh and keen to get back into it. Ash Agar into the team, Travis Head, they stood up. Everyone cracked on, it was great. Really pleasing to see classic Smithy, fluent from ball was awesome. It came out alright today, in that last month or so each time I play I’m getting better.”
