Where will be the play-offs of the Indian T20 League 2022 played?

The Indian T20 League 2022 began on the 26^th of March, 2022, and has gripped the nation with its intense action since then. This year due to the COVID 19 safety protocols majority of the tournament is being held at four venues in the state of Maharashtra.

The Indian T20 League has gone bigger this year with two new teams in addition to the previous eight. Due to the addition of the new teams, the number of league games has also increased to 70 games. Out of these 70 matches, 20 matches will be hosted at the Wankhede Stadium and DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai, while the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai and MCA Stadium in Pune will host 15 games each.

Notably, while the schedule of the tournament was announced the venues for the three playoff matches and the grand finale was not decided. In recent reports by Sporstar though the venues for the most important clashes of the tournament have been revealed. The reports reveal that the Qualifier-1 and the Eliminator of the tournament will be held at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata while Qualifier-2 and the summit clash will take place at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The reports have excited the cricket fans in the two cities as they are hoping to witness live Indian T20 League action. They will be keeping a close eye on the developments regarding the venues for the most important clashes of the 15^th edition of the Indian T20 League 2022.
