Team India started their 20-20 World Cup campaign with a victory over arch-rivals Pakistan at the Newlands, Cape Town in South Africa. Women in blue won their first match by 7 wickets and one over left in the chase.

India are set to play against West Indies in their second group stage match which will take place on February 15th at the same venue where they played their last match.

Here is the probable playing 11 for team India against the West Indies:

In the last match against Pakistan, Shafali Verma and Yashtika Bhatia opened the innings as Smriti Mandhana was ruled out of the match due to a finger injury. But before the second match, India’s bowling coach Troy Cooley has confirmed that Mandhana is fit and she is likely play the second match against West Indies.

So in that case, just Smriti will replace Yashtika Bhatia on Wednesday. Jemimah Rodrigues will bat at number 3 as she helped India to victory in the first game of the tournament. She scored an unbeaten 53 runs from 38 balls at a strike rate of around 140 which included eight boundaries.
