Watch: Virat Kohli trolls Rashid Khan by copying his ‘snake shot’
It is safe to say that Virat Kohli is enduring the toughest phase in his cricketing career. It’s been more than 2 years since the former Indian skipper has hit a century in any format in international cricket. In the ongoing edition of the Indian T20 League, Virat Kohli has struggled to say for too long at the crease.
He has scored one half-century this season. But, other than that, his performances haven’t inspired a lot of confidence. The former Bangalore captain has gotten out in every way he can. Luck hasn’t been his side these days but fans are still hopeful that he will make a strong comeback.
Virat Kohli got a pretty good start in the last game but, once again, couldn’t convert that into a big one. In 13 matches, he has managed to score 236 runs at a dismal strike rate of 113. Despite that, Virat Kohli has been trying hard not to get too get demotivated with his current situation.
The fans have often seen him getting involved in interactions with different cricketers on the field after the game or, sometimes, prior to the start of the match. Recently, Rashid Khan has shared a video on his social media platform, in which Virat Kohli could be seen giving his insights on how to hit the ball.
During the video, he also trolled Rashid Khan for his unique style of hitting sixes. In the video, Virat Kohli can be heard saying,
“To hit the ball, you need to watch the ball, because front foot ka ball you never hit like this (leans back), right? Lekin ye bhai sahab alag hi khelte hain,”. Upon hearing that, Rashid Khan burst into laughter.
