3 players Rajasthan might release ahead of the 2023 edition

Rajasthan won a lot of hearts for their performance in the Indian T20 League 2022. They did a great job at the auction and lived up to all the expectations during the tournament. Sanju Samson and Co. occupied the 2nd position on the points table at the end of the league stage and went on to reach the final.
The franchise, unfortunately, couldn’t lift the title as they faltered in the final against Gujarat. Nevertheless, they would be proud of their performance and would be looking to go all the way next year. The franchise would also look to address issues they had this season and might release some players before the start of the mini-auction 2023.

- Daryl Mitchell:
Daryl Mitchell got the opportunity to play 2 matches in Indian T20 League 2022. Given the options that Rajasthan had as openers, Daryl Mitchell was never going to get enough chances. It wasn’t a wise decision to have him in the side with the likes of Buttler, Jaiswal, and Padikkal already in the mix. Rajasthan might release him and add a solid power-hitter to lend strength in the middle-order.
