Moeen Ali can be a good option if England Cricket Board opts for him. As of now, Moeen is not in the Test squad and hence, his full focus is on the white ball format only.
It has been found that he can be an important part of the ODI cricket with his batting and bowling abilities. In this Netherlands series, he batted only one innings where he score 42* runs while Moeen bowled in two innings where he picked up three wickets. He has also the experience of playing 64 ODI matches for his country so far. Hence, England might look at him as an option also after Morgan’s retirement.
