Every cricketer dreams to play a World Cup, whenever he or she starts playing international cricket for their country. The World Cup takes place in a span of either two years or four years. The ODI World Cup takes place once every four years, and the T20 World Cup takes place once every two years. The level of competition in cricket is intense and it is rightly regarded as the pinnacle of the sport. The first ODI World Cup was played in 1975 which was won by West Indies, while the first T20 World Cup was held in 2007 which was won by India.
Let’s have a look at the three teams who have played all the World Cups but never have won it:
Currently, Bangladesh is the only Asian country who have played all the editions of the T20I World Cup and has won none of them. They qualified for the Super 8s in the inaugural season but are not able to qualify semi-finals since then. They have good players like Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, and Mahmadullah but are not able to win the World Cup so far. Bangladesh have played a total of 153 matches in the mega event so far, where they have won 54 of them, lost 96 games and three resulted without any result.
