3 techniques through which NXT can be made equivalent to Smackdown and RAW

WWE NXT has had several iterations since it debuted in February 2010. It began as a reality game programme that made Daniel Bryan famous globally before evolving into an emerging brand that gave birth to people like Roman Reigns. Thereafter, it developed into a “super-indie” programme, from which stars like Kevin Owens emerged and took the business by storm.

In its latest major incarnation, the brand served as a training ground for indie performers who want to learn the WWE way of doing things as well as a platform for developing local talent. CEO Nick Khan of the company recently indicated that the brand isn’t simply for development and it can also be a stand-alone show.

The size of the audience is one of the main determinants of a pro wrestling show’s success. A superb audience may transform an event from mediocre to terrific, whereas a “dead” audience can ruin an otherwise outstanding performance. The fact that RAW and SmackDown perform each week for a different audience is one approach to maintaining fan enthusiasm.

The enthusiasm of a 10,000-seat arena can hardly compare to the 300-strong Full Sail audience on their best day. This undermines the brand’s credibility when compared with RAW and SmackDown, thus it urgently has to be corrected.
