On 25 September, India won the three-match T20I series against Australia at home at a margin of 2-1. Ahead of the 20-20 World Cup, this series win can boost the team as they had a poor Asia Cup campaign. But, despite losing the series, Australia came out with a massive positive in the form of Cameron Green. This all-rounder is currently out of their announced squad for the upcoming World Cup. But, he came to India as a replacement for David Warner.

Australia gave him a chance as an opener and he grabbed that opportunity with both hands. He became the highest run-scorer of the series with 118 runs in three matches, at an average of 39.33. But, the talking point was his strike rate. He smashed all those runs at a staggering strike rate of 214.54. Hence, based on his hitting skills, many franchises of the Indian T20 League will look to add him ahead of the next season.

Here are five franchises who can spend big for Cameron Green for the next edition of the Indian T20 League

This franchise can bid for this Australian all-rounder ahead of the Indian T20 League. In the last edition of this rich-vein tournament, Kolkata finished at the seventh spot with 12 points from 14 games. Shreyas Iyer got the opportunity to lead the team. But, he failed to qualify them for the top-four spot.

Speaking of that season, the team faced issues in the power-hitting in the middle order apart from some innings from Andre Russell. Even, in the opening spot, they lacked some power-hitting players as Venkatesh Iyer had a bad season. Hence, they can use Cameron Green as per their wish in the batting order along with his bowling skills.
