During the 2014 edition of the Indian T20 League, some matches were played in the UAE. Virat Kohli was the captain of his Banglore franchise then. But, during that tournament, some images went viral. During a match of the Bangalore franchise, a female fan was in the stands with a banner for the former Indian skipper.
The banner read: “My Virat Kohli Makes Me Love Bangalore”. It showed how much that fan had affection for the Bangalore skipper. However, that season was not a good one for the franchise. Bangalore ended at the seventh position with 10 points from 14 matches. Virat scored 359 runs in 14 matches, at an average of 27.61.
