This incident took place during the second encounter between India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2022. India locked horns with Pakistan in the ‘Super Four’ stage. In that match, India batted first and scored 181 runs in 20 overs by losing seven wickets. Virat Kohli scored 60 runs off 44 balls, including four boundaries and one six.
However, Pakistan chased it down in 19.5 overs with three wickets to spare. But, during that chase, Arshdeep Singh missed a very simple catch of Asif Ali. Rohit Sharma was livid with him as he expressed his anger in gesture. Asif Ali scored 16 runs off eight balls to ensure his team’s victory.
