The Indian T20 League is the most glamorous cricketing event in the world. The revenue generated by the tournament in each of its seasons makes it the richest T20 League around the globe. The main source of profit for the franchise owners is through ticket and merchandise sales and sponsorship deals. However, the business groups associated with teams as owners are already tycoons in their respective business arenas. Here we will take a look at the top richest owners of the Indian T20 League.

5. Manoj Badale: Manoj Badale is the co-founder and managing partner of the venture capital firm Blenheim Chalcot. Badale owns the majority of the shares of the Rajasthan franchise. He has 65 per cent of the franchise’s share. Reportedly, he has a net worth of $160 million. This makes him the fifth richest active owner of a team in the Indian T20 League.

Rajasthan after winning the trophy in 2008 has never again made it to the finals of the tournament. This year, the team will look to end their drought and win the title a second time.
