Former Indian Pacer Praveen Kumar and his son escape from horrifying road accident

Praveen Kumar, the former Indian cricketer, and his son are said to have escaped a tragic automobile accident near Meerut. The collision happened on Tuesday night when a truck crashed with their car at high speed. Fortunately, Praveen Kumar and his son narrowly avoided the crash, despite substantial damage to their car. The local police have arrested the truck driver.
Praveen Kumar has made significant contributions to Indian cricket, and his supporters will be pleased to learn that he and his kid are safe after such a tragic experience. He lives in Meerut’s Multan Nagar district. This isn’t the first time that the former Indian Pacer has been in an accident. In 2007, he fell from an open vehicle on the Delhi-Meerut expressway on his way home after being called up to the Indian army. The Civil Line police station arrived on the scene after getting the information. Piyush Kumar, the SP of City, stated that the canter driver was caught and taken to the police station. The CO stated that Praveen and his kid were unharmed in the mishap.
Praveen Kumar’s career as a player
Praveen was known for his ability to swing the new ball and represented India in six Tests, 68 One-Day Internationals, and ten Twenty20 Internationals between 2007 and 2012. Before retiring from international cricket, he had taken a total of 112 wickets. He was instrumental in India’s triumph in the 2008 CB series in Australia, under the captaincy of MS Dhoni.
The news comes only months after another Indian cricketer was killed in a car accident. When Rishabh Pant was travelling home last December, his automobile collided with a road barrier on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. Pant had many injuries that necessitated surgery, and he is presently undergoing therapy.
Meanwhile, the schedule and timings for India’s tour of West Indies have been announced that the six limited-overs matches, comprising three One-Day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals, would be played in Barbados, Trinidad, and Guyana. The much-anticipated return of Team India to the field will take place next week, beginning with a two-match Test series against the West Indies.
