‘Aisa koi word hee nahi hai’ – DC players asked to describe MS Dhoni in one word, responses spark reactions from fans

Many cricket fans around the country, especially those who support Chennai Super Kings, view MS Dhoni as more than just a player. ‘Thala’ has garnered respect from players on other teams and fans for his role in CSK’s four IPL titles and his past exploits with the Indian squad.

The Delhi Capitals’ Twitter account posted a touching video of their players attempting to sum up MS Dhoni in one word ahead of their IPL 2023 match against Chennai Super Kings on Wednesday, May 10, at the Chepauk Stadium. Ishant Sharma introduces Dhoni in the video as his “big brother,” Axar Patel praises the CSK captain as “Mr Cool.”

Mitchell Marsh was then heard calling Dhoni a “legend,” and several of the younger players responded similarly, along with other terms typically used to describe the 41-year-old, such as “captain” and “finisher.”

While one player referred to Dhoni as “God,” Priyam Garg responded, “Aisa koi word hi nahi hai unke liye, wo bilkul alag hain,” while Yash Dhull stated, “legend forever.” Sarfaraz Khan described himself as the CSK captain’s “big fan,” to which Mukesh Kumar responded, “No words,” before kneeling in submission.

David Warner and company will attempt to defeat Chennai Super Kings to maintain their IPL 2023 playoff race position. To remain in the running for the playoffs with four games left, Delhi must win all four of their games, including the match against CSK. DC has won four of their past five games and will undoubtedly think they can defeat a determined CSK team.

On the other hand, Dhoni’s team is presently in second place in the IPL 2023 points standings. If they win tonight against Delhi, they will achieve 15 points, which would all but assure the Yellow Army a spot in the playoffs. Although many have predicted that the CSK captain’s time in the IPL may be up, he has kept fans and analysts guessing how long he will remain in the league.
