Former South Africa cricketer, AB de Villiers, often known as Mr. 360, apologized for sharing ‘false information’ on Friday.
The Former Indian skipper, Virat Kohli and his former teammate in RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) Ab De Villiers are very good friends off the field. They have played tons of matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are one of the fan’s favourite couples in India. King Kohli married the Bollywood actress on December 11, 2017, and the two lovebirds welcomed their first child – Vamika on January 11, 2021.

Ab de Villers Drama continues and it’s very confusing for the cricketing fraternities

A few days ago, Villers said on his YouTube channel, “So, yes his second child is on the way, it’s family time. You cannot judge Virat for that, and yes we miss him but he’s made the right decision. We wish him all the very best for the great blessing of being able to become a father for the second time and All the Best to Anushka as well.”

Now suddenly he changed his stand on Friday in an interview and said, “Absolutely family comes first, it’s a priority, as I said on my YouTube show. Also, I made a terrible mistake at the same time and yeah, sharing false information which was not true at all. No one knows what’s happening. All I can do is wish him well and I think the whole world that follows Virat and enjoys his cricket, must just wish him well whatever the reason is for this break, really hope that he comes back stronger and better and healthier and fresh and ready to take on the world again.”

His statements and false information have created a lot of confusion and doubt among all the fans. According to ESPNcricinfo, Virat Kohli has ruled himself out of the Rajkot and Ranchi Tests against England as well. He is also doubtful for the fifth and final Test in Dharamsala. Indian team management is expected to announce the squad on Friday, February 9.

The five-match series is well-balanced at 1-1. Ollie Pope’s brilliant knock led England to win the first Test in Hyderabad before India bounced back with a terrific win in Visakhapatnam in the second test. Yashasvi Jaiswal made a brilliant double ton in this game. India will play in Rajkot for the third Test. KL Rahul, Mohammed Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja might be back in the squad.
