Are Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma expecting their second child?

India’s former captain and legendary batter, Virat Kohli and his wife, the popular Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma, are reportedly expecting their second child. They have kept the news under the lapse in the hope to reveal the news in a formal release. Notably, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma revealed the exclusive news of their first child through their social media accounts in a post while addressing their fans and the media in a formal way. 

The birth of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s daughter Vamika Kohli had brought in an enormous amount of joy in the lives of the attacking batter and the actress. There have been multiple speculations considering the absence of Anushka Sharma in the media. Since a while now, she has been a top notch Bollywood actress for years. 

As per the rumours, the actress had previously been spotted, visiting a maternity clinic and requested the media to avoid publishing the news while promising to announce the news in a formal way with India’s star batter really soon.  

“Like the last time, they will formally share the news” – Sources 

A close source recently spoke to Hindustan Times and said,  “Anushka is expecting her second baby. Like the last time, they will formally share the news with the world at a later stage.” While mentioning her absence from the media, the source added, “This isn’t a coincidence. She is staying away from the public eye to avoid speculation.” While the rumours had been sparked earlier, they went rife after Anushka’s Ganesh Chaturthi post.” 

While adding spark to the rumours of Anushka Sharma visiting the maternity clinic sometime ago, the close source added, “They requested the paparazzi to not publish their pictures, with a promise to make an announcement soon.” Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have made headlines multiple times as they have consistently requested the media to avoid posting the pictures of their daughter to keep her away from the public eye. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma publicly declared “We have decided to not expose our child to social media before she understands it and makes her own choice.”
