1. First team to beat Australia in a Day/Night Test
Ever since the Day/Night Test match started in 2015, Australia remained unbeaten until West Indies defeated them at Gabba. This was the first time a visitor team went to Australia and defeated them in their backyard. Even though the series ended in a draw, 1-1, the loss at Gabba will forever haunt the Australians for many reasons, one of them being the first loss in a day/night Test.
It was a collective effort from the West Indies team from the first innings and Joseph’s bowling turned out to be the cherry on the cake for them. Both teams will remember the Test match for a really long time, however, the reasons will be different from each other.
