‘Avesh Khan should get a chance to play’ – Sarandeep Singh on India’s tour of Ireland
Indian cricket team have already established their dominance and supremacy over Ireland in the team’s three T20 match mini-series in Ireland. The Indian team have clinched a victory in the first two T20 matches under the leadership of Jasprit Bumrah.
The young Indian side has found incredible talent in Prasidh Krishna, Tilak Varma and Rinku Singh who have given stellar performances throughout the series. Many players from the squad will also be seen in the upcoming marquee tournaments like the Asia Cup and Asian Games.
The JioCinema expert Sarandeep Singh talked about how the liberty team gets to make changes after registering a series win when there are leftover matches. Singh discussed that Avesh Khan should get a chance to place since he has consistently performed well in domestic cricket and the Indian Premier League.
Another Jio cinema expert Abhishek Nayar highlighted how it is important to not make many changes on a short tour like India’s tour of Ireland and allow the players who are already playing well more chances to play.

“Absolutely, it should definitely happen, especially after a victory, when you get the liberty to make changes. I really want to see Avesh Khan play. He’s a good fast bowler, and I’ve mentioned before that he consistently performs well in domestic cricket and even in the IPL,” said Sarandeep Singh.
“We’ve seen him playing regularly and delivering excellent bowling performances. Even though we couldn’t give him a chance during the West Indies series due to the back-and-forth nature of the matches, we should certainly provide him with an opportunity here. Jitesh Sharma should also get a chance,” added Sarandeep Singh.
“I’d prefer not to see any changes. You know, it’s a very short tour, just these T20Is. Therefore, it’s important to ensure that the players who have been given an opportunity continue to play,” said Abhishek Nayar.
