‘Bach gaya, review bach gaya’ – Team India’s hilarious chat after DRS review caught on stump mic: Watch
The Indian team is known to have some fun on the field. We have seen Rishabh Pant be the most candid self, sing songs, and have fun with the bowlers. Indian players also have been involved in a few banters that have been caught on the mic. All in all, stump mic chatters have become a great source of entertainment for the fans.
This time around, it was Rohit Sharma who had a fun moment in the first T20 against West Indies. On a leg-sided delivery bowled by Ravi Bishnoi to Roston Chase, everyone heard some noise before it went in Pant’s gloves. The umpire interestingly called it a wide. Virat Kohli was sure of the ball taking the inside edge. Rohit hesitantly took a review for it. However, the umpire took the review for the stumping thus Rohit didn’t have to risk his review. As it turned out, Chase’s foot was grounded thus he was safe. However, the third umpire asked the on-field umpire to change the decision of wide as the ball had hit the thigh pad.
Rohit Sharma had a hilarious reaction to this as started screaming ‘Back Gya, Back Gya, review back gya.
