BGMI Multiverse Series, Top 16 teams move towards grand finals

January 12 marked the final day of matches for BGMI The Multiverse Series by Upthrust Esports. With this, the top 16 teams who have the most points on the scoreboard will be moving forward to the grand finals which are scheduled for January 13.

The top three teams saw the same names. Although the positions on the scoreboard were swapped between Team Tamilas and Global Esports, compared to Day 4 results.

Top three teams of semifinal Day 5

Team Tamilas also displayed their best game of the semifinals and managed to secure two chicken dinners. With a score of 80 points on Day 5, the teams managed to once again climb on the top. One can say they ended the semifinals the same way they started.

Global Esports did not have the best game compared to the last four days and only managed to secure one chicken dinner. Nevertheless, their previous performance was enough to keep them in second position.

iQOO Soul also did not have a good run on the final day. However, similar to Global Esports, their previous performance was well enough to help them retain the third position.

Aslaaa Esports made the biggest jump in rankings, by moving from 14 on Day 4 to 9 on the final day. On the other hand, TeamXSpark barely managed to secure a spot in the top 16 with 133 points.

Qualified teams will now face each other in the grand finals that will run from January 13 to January 17. A total of 30 matches will take place across these five days. Teams will also face each other and get plenty of chances of payback and prove themselves in front of fans.

MrIGL from Team Tamilas also became the top fragger with 40 finishes. Following up were Spower from Soul and NinjaBoi from Global Esports, each with 35 finishes.
