BPL: Bowler emulates Allu Arjun’s signature move from Pushpa after taking a wicket: Watch

Sylhet Sunrisers spinner celebration in Allu Arjun’s style after picking a wicket against Comilla Victorians in the fourth game of the Bangladesh Premier League shows that Tollywood movies are not popular in India but abroad as well. Arjun starred in a recently released film Pushpa, which was a massive hit. In the movie, Arjun caresses his beard as his signature move. Emulating the same, the player copied his style after picking a wicket.

The player mentioned above is Nazmul Islam from Sunrisers, who dismissed Shohidul Islam. Here’s the video of dismissal.

Talking about the game, Victorians skipper Imrul Kayes won the toss and asked Sunrisers to bat first. The Sylhet’s innings never got going as they were restricted to 96 all out in 19.1 overs. Only Colin Ingram (20), Ravi Bopara (17) and Sohag Gazi (12) could cross the double-digit figures. For Victorians, Nahidul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman and Shohidul Islam took two wickets each while Tanvir Islam, Monimul Haque and Karim Janat took one apiece.

This was assumed to be an easy chase for the Men In Red and Black but they lost the wicket of Faf du Plessis at the score of 13 in 3.1 overs. Just like their opposition, the two-time winners could not get going as they kept losing wickets in the regular intervals. Useful contributions from Cameron Delport (16), Monimul Haque (15), skipper Kayes (10), Nahidul Islam (16) and Karim Janat (18) made sure that the team got over the line with eight balls to spare.
