The Indian cricket team’s former opening batsman Wasim Jaffer recently posted a pitch report on the moon meme after India’s successful landing of the Chandrayaan-3 on the moon on 23 August, Wednesday. India’s historic feat is being widely appreciated by people from across the world, since it became the first nation to land on the South pole of the moon.
People across multiple professions are consistently congratulating the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for their achievement, as the institution streamed the landing of Chandrayaan-3, live on their YouTube channel, which made the stream, the most watched live stream in the world with 8M+ views.
India’s legendary World Cup winning Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni also lauded successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 in a recent video. Like all the other major and historic events in his life, Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s reaction towards the landing remained quite subtle and simple while his daughter’s reaction showed a whole different level of excitement.
Appearing to be inside a gym, Dhoni was seen wearing a tank top T-shirt and shorts while the others accompanied him, sticking their eyes towards the television screens. Another video surfaced to the internet which couldn’t identify MS Dhoni’s face, but fans didn’t leave this chance to sport their favourite player.

The fans bombarded Jaffer’s post with likes and hilarious comments and Memes. Some fans even took a dig at former cricketers, who consistently talk and criticise the cricket pitch at multiple venues. A user wrote ‘Pitch looks Like Only Indians Can Bat Today’, while another user wrote ‘Nehru Stadium coming up soon on the moon’.
