The highly anticipated India-Pakistan game in the Super 12 round of the ongoing 20-20 World Cup 2022 is about to begin. Fans from both Asian countries have been waiting anxiously for the game to begin. In the last few days, the game was threatened by the persistent rain in Melbourne. However, the ‘clouds’ over the game have gone away and a full 20-over game is quite possible.

Meanwhile, a few hours ahead of the game, the England Cricket Team fan club Barmy Army tried to take a dig at the ‘Mother of all clashes’. The club took to Twitter and posted “What’s an India vs Pakistan. Never heard of it.” After this, the fans could keep calm and started trolling the fan club. Indian and Pakistani fans come together to absolutely smacked the Barmy Army.

Talking about the game, India skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bowl first. Sharma said that the wicket looks good and the new ball might swing a little bit

“Looks like a good pitch, a bit of grass, and it’s a little overcast, so the ball might swing around a little bit, so we’ll try and use that to our advantage,” Rohit says. “Very much sorted with our preparation now. It’s time to come out and enjoy ourselves.

“Seven batters, an allrounder, three seamers, two spinners.”

India Playing XI:  Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammed Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh.
