As the Indian Cricket Board named the squad for the last three Test games against England, the selectors waited to get fitness clearance for KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja. While their names have been added it’s not sure that they will play the Test match.

Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has returned back to the team while Bengal fast bowler Akash Deep Singh has received his first call-up to represent India in a Test. Due to workload management, Mohammed Siraj was not a part of the second Test match.

Akash Deep is from Dehri, Bihar but plays for Bengal in domestic cricket. Due to a lack of chances and poor management, he left Bihar and started playing for Bengal in Ranji cricket. Akash Deep has already represented India in white ball cricket. He represented India in Asian Games which was in T20 format and South Africa in ODI.
