‘Famous hone ka cheat code’ – Fans bash former Pakistan cricketer for his ‘I don’t want to play in India’ statement
Since 2012-13, Pakistan Cricket Team hasn’t played any cricket in India apart from the 20-20 World Cup 2016. Thanks to poor political relations between India and Pakistan, both teams only play each other in Asia Cups and World tournaments. In 2018, the Indian Cricket Board had to shift the Asia Cup to the UAE due to the security situation for the Pakistan team. Not to forget, they haven’t played in the Indian T20 League since 2008.
Meanwhile, former Pakistan cricketer Sohail Khan spoke about playing cricket in India. He said that he would rather play in England or Australia. The right-arm pacer cited ‘hooting and shouting’ in India from the fans. His statements haven’t been accepted well by the Indian fans and they have been bashing the 38-year-old.
“I have no wish to play cricket in India. I’d rather play at Lord’s, in Australia or in New Zealand. I don’t want to play in India where there’s a lot of noise in the crowd, they are always chanting and hooting,” Sohail Khan said.

Meanwhile, the fans might remember Khan playing for Pakistan against India in the 2015 ODI World Cup. In the game, he took a five-wicket haul. However, as per the tradition in the ODI World Cup, the Men In Blue beat their Asian rivals once again.
