The schedule for the first few matches of India in the Asian Games 2023 has been announced. The 2023 season of the Asian Games is set to begin on the 23rd of September in Hangzhou. The Indian cricket team is set to make its debut in the games for the first time. The fans are excited to watch some of the best players in the world in a slightly different tournament. India will be taking on teams they have never faced before.
The 19th Asian Games will be telecasted on the Sony Sports Network in India. They have announced the schedule of the tournament. Even before the start of the opening ceremony, the Indian team will be playing many games. However, it is not yet announced if the matches will be for qualification to the main round or the practice games for the team. The fans are a bit confused regarding the same.
Indian cricket team to make debut in Asian Games 2023
The opening ceremony of the tournament will take place on the 23rd of September. The live telecast of the grand event will start at 5:30 PM in India according to the Indian Standard Time. On the 19th of September, the Indian men’s team will take on China in Football. The match is scheduled to happen at 5:00 PM according to the Indian Standard Time.
On the 20th of September, the Indian men’s team will face the challenge of South Korea in Volleyball. The match will be telecasted live from 4:30 PM. The Indian women’s cricket team will face an opponent on the 21st of September, which is yet to be decided. The match will start at 11:30 AM IST. It will be the first-ever appearance of an Indian cricket team in the history of the games.
Football teams are scheduled to play their opponents on the 21st of September. The men’s team will take on Bangladesh at 1:30 PM IST. The women’s team will face the challenge of Chinese Taipei at 5:00 PM IST. All the matches will be telecasted live on Sony Sports Network.
