Fortnite announces FNCS 2024 with over $7 million prize pool
Fortnite has now revealed its biggest Fortnite Championship Series (FNCS) for 2024. Players globally will get a chance to compete for a massive prize pool of $7.6 million. As per the previous announcement, the tournament will be hosted by Blast.
The First Major for all regions will start on January 26 and will run through February 25. Second Major form, from April 12 to May 12 and the final Major from June 14 to July 27.
The duo format from last year will remain the same. However, players will face new challenges and scoring systems throughout the three majors. This will help them to secure a chance at the grand finals.

How to qualify for FNCS
To qualify for FNCS, players need to be at least Platinum 1 rank. FNCS 2024 will see three majors with each following a similar structure of Open Qualifiers, Semi-Finals, and Grand Finals.
Open Qualifiers
Players will be required to earn points from their matches during the Open Qualifiers. It will feature four rounds in NA/EU Qualifiers and three in OCE/ASIA/ME/BR Qualifiers. The top 250 duos from all regions will move to the Semi-Finals.
Semi-finals
Semi-finals will be divided into Upper and Lower brackets. The top 50 teams will be playing in the upper bracket while 51β250 teams will be in the lower brackets. At the end of the semi-finals, the top 50 teams with the most points will move to the grand finals.
Grand Finals
The top 50 teams will face each other across two days. The second day of the grand finals will also see a 1.5x score multiplier. Winning teams will get a chance to compete in the global championship. More details about the global championship will be revealed by Epic Games very soon.
