WATCH: Hardik Pandya shares heartwarming message for Team India ahead of ODI World Cup 2023 final vs Australia

The Men in Blue are all set to lock horns against five-time world champions Australia on November 19 at the iconic Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. Notably, Team India had thrashed the Kiwis by 70 runs to place them in the final. On the other hand, Pat Cummins and Co. trounced South Africa in their semi-final to lock horns with the hosts in their final showdown.

Meanwhile, ahead of the final game, India’s star cricketer, Hardik Pandya, has shared a beautiful video to encourage Team India. Notably, the great all-rounder was part of India’s starting line-up for the first four matches. The 30-year-old cricketer suffered ankle injuries during the match against Bangladesh at MCA in Pune, which ruled him out of the event.

However, Pandya seems to encourage the Men in Blue and boost them to bring glory to the nation. The Gujarat Titans captain recalls how clinching the final match was not only their dream, but billions of people are standing with them to win the final game.

“I could not have been more proud of this team. Everything that we’ve done so far has been credited to the years of hard work behind us. We are now one step away from glory, from doing something special we’ve dreamt of since we were children lifting the cup not just for ourselves but the billion people behind us,” Hardik Pandya said in the video.

“Always with you with my love and all my heart. Now let’s bring the cup home. Jai Hind,” he further said.

Notably, the middle-order batter will be missed in the final owing to his great experience son his IPL home ground. Pandya was replaced by Mohammed Shami and Suryakumar Yadav in the game. However, the right-arm pacer showed his impressive form in the ongoing tournament. On the other hand, Suryakumar Yadav is not able to play a single great inning, which makes him miss most in the squad.
