England’s fast bowler James Anderson has turned 41 years old, but the speed and swing of his balls are still the same. Even on the India tour, his bowling has been commendable. Meanwhile, this legendary England bowler has made an interesting revelation that he has learned tricks like reverse swing from Indian fast bowler Zaheer Khan.

One of the legends of modern-day cricket Virat Kohli bows James Anderson for his swing. Even a batter like Virat Kohli has surrendered to Anderson several times. This player has turned 41 years old but despite this, he is still raising the flag of success with his speed and the edge of the ball. Even though his team has lost this series, Anderson has bowled excellently on slow Indian tracks. Especially Anderson has troubled team India with his reverse swing.

Zaheer Khan played 92 Tests for India and took 311 wickets

41-year-old fast bowler, who took nearly 700 wickets in Test cricket, James Anderson said that “For me, Zaheer Khan was someone I used to watch a lot to try and learn from. How he used the reverse swing, how he covered the ball when he ran into bowl, that’s something I tried to sort of develop on the back of playing against him quite a few times here,” in an exclusive interview on Jio Cinema.

James Anderson is also very much influenced by the Indian fast bowlers of the current era. He praised Bumrah a lot. Anderson said that Bumrah has a reverse swing. He has a good pace and accurate line length, he can bowl amazing yorkers. It is no coincidence that Bumrah is the number 1 bowler in the world. Anderson said that he was not at all surprised by Bumrah’s performance. Apart from Bumrah, Anderson also called Shami and Siraj as the best bowlers and he also included Ishant Sharma in this category.

James Anderson played 186 Test matches for England and he is just 2 wickets away from 700 Test wickets. England will play their next Test against India on March 7 in Dharamsala. They want to finish their series on a high note.
