A Tweet is going viral on social media where a fan predicted Virat Kohli’s dismissal an hour before the actual event. The star batsman from India, Virat Kohli is playing the 100th Test of his career, against Sri Lanka in Mohali.

Kohli came out to bat with the Indian score reading 80 for the loss of 2 wickets. The batting maestro really looked comfortable during his stay at the crease. Kohli along with Hanuma Vihari stitched a great partnership of 90 runs before being dismissed by the 25-year-old left-arm spinner from Sri Lanka, Lasith Embuldeniya. He was at a personal score of 45 runs when his stumps were shattered on the third ball of the 18th over.

As Virat Kohli was left in disbelief when he was bowled for 45 runs of 76 deliveries, the tweet of a fan made about 12 hours ago went viral. The prediction by the fan was not entirely accurate, but the amount of similarity with the real-life incident has surprised the Twitteratis. The tweet has already gained above 20K likes on the social media platform. The tweet read- “Kohli Won’t score a 100 in his 100th test. Will score 45 (100) with 4 gorgeous cover drives and then Embuldeniya will knock his stumps over and he’ll pretend to be shocked and nod his head in disappointment.”

Notably, Virat Kohli and Ricky Ponting are the only two players to have achieved their personal milestone of 8000 test runs in their 100th Test. The star batsman from India took 169 innings to reach the milestone, the fifth-fastest among Indians.
