The former captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli has always remained in the spotlight for his astonishing numbers on the field, unreal fitness standards and stunner brand endorsements. Recently a report surfaced on the internet about Virat Kohli’s social media earnings, which were related to his brand endorsements.
The report claimed that the aggressive India batsman earns ₹11.45 crore per paid social media post or every sponsored post on the renowned social media app, Instagram. This report also claimed that Virat Kohli was one of the highest-paid social media personalities in the world.
As per the report, Virat Kohli was the only Indian in the Top 20 highest-paid Instagram influencers after, Selena Gomez, Kylie Jenner etc, and the third highest-paid sportsperson after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

The star batsman’s fans were elated to find their favourite player trending in the world. However, Virat Kohli recently broke his silence and posted on social media platforms to speak about this rumour and declared it False.
“While I am grateful and indebted to all that I’ve received in life, the news that has been making rounds about my social media earnings is not true,” said Virat Kohli on his social media account on Saturday, 12 August.
As usual, fans bombarded the comment section of Virat Kohli with fan theories and memes. Some fans called Virat’s decision to get away from his income rumours to be a strategic decision to avoid unnecessary encounters with the Income Tax Department. While the others were curious if the legendary batsman earns even more than the revealed amount.
Virat Kohli will be next seen in the continental tournament the Asia Cup 2023 which will be held in Pakistan and Sri Lanka, followed by the ODI World Cup 2023, which will be hosted by India from 5 October to 19 November.
