  1. Jos Buttler

The Englishman lit up the 15th edition of the Indian T20 League with three hundreds in the initial half. The right-hander looked like breaking the record the Virat Kohli‘s 973 runs, made in 2016. However, he has tapered off. Currently, he has amassed 629 runs in 14 games which makes it certain that Kohli’s record will remain for at least next season.

2. KL Rahul

The Lucknow skipper started well in the first half and hit two hundreds against Mumbai in both fixtures. However, with the passing season, the opposition teams have got the better of him. Their bowlers have to an extent, exploited his weaknesses. Meanwhile, in the last game against Kolkata, the right-hander got back to the groove with an unbeaten 68.

3. Umesh Yadav

The Kolkata pacer started with quite a few wickets as he had help from the surfaces across four venues. With the wickets getting drier with the passage of the tournament, his effectiveness to a slight beating. He has finished the season with 16 wickets in 12 games, with his team being crashed out of the playoffs race.

4. Trent Boult

The left-arm pacer from New Zealand started well with his early wickets in the first few games. He missed out on a game against Gujarat early in the tournament due to a niggle. With that, his form dipped and couldn’t pick a wicket in the next few games. However, in the game against Lucknow, he returned with two wickets.

5. Shikhar Dhawan

The Punjab opening batter had a splendid start to the tournament. He was one of the highest-run getters for his side. However, in the last few games, his bat has been quiet and his strike rate has dropped from around 130 to 120. He has only one game left in the tournament as his side are already knocked out of the tournament. The left-hander would love to end the tournament with a high score.
