India Table Tennis star, Manika Batra recently shared a fan moment with Bollywood actor, Ranbir Kapoor. The former took to Instagram and posted an image with Kapoor. In the caption, the two-time Olympian couldn’t hold her praise for Kapoor. She started by mentioning that a veteran actor is a generous man and how much he knows Table Tennis. Batra added that she is thankful to Kapoor for making her comfortable.
“At first I didn’t want to post this and wanted to keep it to myself as this moment is precious to me. But then I thought people should know how generous and kind this man is. We spoke about My game. he was curious about my height( he said-aapko toh zyaada bend hota padta hoga as you have a great height and so on. RK has my heart. Thank you for making me feel so comfortable. Always been a fan of your acting, but now I’m a fan of your kind, intellectual and fun traits,” read Manika’s Instagram post caption.

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old isn’t having the best time on and off the field in the last year or so. She had a forgettable campaign during the Commonwealth Games last year. However, in the last few tournaments, she has been doing well. However, on the other hand, she alleged national coach, Soumyadeep Roy of match-fixing. The three-time Gold medalist in the South Asian Games has alleged that she was asked to throw a game against Sutirtha Mukherjee.
Taking note of her allegations, the Court Appointed Administrators formed a three-member committee to look into the allegations.
