September and October see India play hosts once again, welcoming Bangladesh and New Zealand for a bilateral Test series. These encounters offer valuable preparation for the year-end tour and a chance to experiment with different combinations. The year culminates in a massive tour of Australia for a five-match Test series. Having conquered the Aussies on their home turf twice in a row, India faces a monumental task to repeat the feat.
