India’s first test against Sri Lanka at Mohali marks the 100th Test of Indian star cricketer Virat Kohli. The star was felicitated on the occasion by BCCI ahead of the Test on Friday. Kohli became the 12th Indian player to complete 100 Tests, while the record for the most number of tests is with the Indian veteran Sachin Tendulkar with 200 matches to his name.
Rahul Dravid, the Indian batting legend and current Team head coach presented Virat Kohli with a special cap on the occasion. Rahul Dravid called the achievement well deserved and well earned, and hoped it to be the start of many more great things to come.
Virat Kohli’s wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma was also present during the ceremony. Her presence though got the fans divided on Twitter. While a group of fans cited examples of other players whose family members were not present when the same feat was achieved by them, others made it a point that the occasion is a big one for the star and there is no harm in bringing his special one with him to share the joyous moment.
What is Anushka Sharma doing on the field. Is she even allowed as per rules?

Can BCCI explain what was Anushka Sharma doing on the field? Is this a family event or an international test match. Don’t make mockery of cricket just to satisfy some inflated egos. pic.twitter.com/VQBX8xS99N

I do not understand what is Anushka ma’am doing on the ground?? Never seen any other family member of any cricketer howsoever big he may be present during the cap presentation. Even anjali ma’am wasn’t on ground during Gods last test. @Abhinandan673 https://t.co/NBvWpn8b5l
