Holland has revealed to be a fan of Jude Bellingham despite having love for FC Barcelona. The former Borussia Dortmund midfielder has recently arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The 19-year-old has become Madrid’s second-most expensive signing in history, costing €103 million from Borussia Dortmund. To win the UEFA Champions League, Tom Holland has advised Harry Kane to quit Tottenham Hotspur and join Real Madrid. The English striker’s future is unknown because he has a year remaining on his Spurs deal. SPORTbible asked the British actor what he would tell Kane in a message if he had the chance.
I have always been a Barça fan: Tom Holland
In the interview, Holland was asked about his favourite club apart from Tottenham Hotspur. He said, “I have always been a Barça fan.” Although this was not the first time the Hollywood celebrity made comments about football. Holland said that his two favourite players were Harry Kane and Son Heung-min. Although he added that they should move to Real Madrid to win the Champions League. He said, “I would say bother Kane and Son to join Real Madrid this summer to win the Champions League they deserve.”
Following a spectacular season at Dortmund, Bellingham became Europe’s most popular youngster this summer. He has 14 goals and seven assists in 42 appearances in all competitions, earning him the title of Bundesliga Player of the Year. Real Madrid has given the English player Zinedine Zidane’s historic No. 5 shirt. Fans, notably those in Holland, are eager to watch how he plays in Carlo Ancelotti’s team.
Bellingham will compete on the pitch as well as for the Golden Boy title alongside Barcelona midfielder Gavi. Bayern Munich looks to be Kane’s most likely destination if he leaves Tottenham. So far, the Bavarians have had two proposals totalling up to €80 million rejected. According to reports, Tottenham’s attitude toward the England captain is that he is not for sale.
