Pakistan prolific batter Fakhar Zaman might have failed to make a big score in the final match of 2022 Pakistan Super League (PSL) against the against the former champions Multan Sultans walking back to the dug out after just scoring three runs. However, the-left arm batter had a dream tournament while being at the top of most runs list in PSL 2022 after scoring 588 runs in 13 matches.

Chasing a stiff target of 181 runs, Multan Sultans never looked comfortable in their chase. The duo of Khushdil Shah and Tim David did stitch a partnership of 51 runs for the sixth-wicket stand, but once the duo was dismissed, it was curtains down for them. As a result, Lahore Qalandars were crowned champions by 42 runs.
