Australia’s Tour of Pakistan

Australia toured Pakistan after 24 years. In the historical tour, the two teams battled it out in all formats of the game. In the three-match Test series, Australia won the last match to win the series as the first two tests were drawn.

In the 50 over format Pakistan emerged victorious. They won the final to matches of the series after being 1-0 down. In the lone T20I competition Australia won by 3 wickets and completed a successful tour.

The news of the Australian team being threatened during their stay in Pakistan might not be beneficial to the cricketing interests of the nation. After international cricket has returned to Pakistan, Australia is the first big team to tour the nation. Such an incident was not wanted during the landmark tour.
