‘Maza aata hai yeh ad dekhke’ – Fans react as ‘Mauka Mauka’ man is seen with Ravindra Jadeja on set ahead of ODI World Cup 2023

Team India is all set to lock horns against Pakistan for the much-anticipated clash on October 14 at the iconic Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad for the ODI World Cup 2023. Notably, the official broadcaster for the ODI World Cup, Star Sports, has launched the Mauka Mauka TV ad campaign. In a recent video that went viral, star cricketer Ravindra Jadeja was spotted along with Mauka Mauka star Vishal Malhotra.

In addition, the Mauka Mauka campaign was first launched during the 2015 ODI World Cup for the clash against Pakistan. Notably, the TV add has received a plethora of appreciation, which prompted the Star Sports team to make one more for the upcoming clash against Babar Azam and Co.

Notably, the Mauka Mauka man appears to be a Pakistani player, as he always wears a Pakistani jersey. However, the man is Indian and played the role of Pakistan in the ad campaigns. He was yet again spotted with Ravindra Jadeja wearing a Pakistani team jersey for the promo shoot ahead of the much-anticipated clash.

Team India has never lost to Pakistan in the 50-over format since 1992

Meanwhile, the Pakistan team is set to arrive in the host country, India, on September 27. Babar Azam and Co. received the visa on September 25. However, the delay in issuing the visa has caused strong backlash from the Pakistan Cricket Board. Notably, Team India has never lost to Pakistan in the 50-over format since 1992.

Speaking about their journey, the Pakistan team was looking in magnificent form ahead of the Asia Cup 2023. They defeated Afghanistan 3-0 in the ODI series. Following that they yet again produced a stellar show in the group stages of the Asia Cup 2023. However, they suffered a historic loss against India and a narrow loss over Sri Lanka, which knocked them out during the Super Fours of the Asia Cup 2023.

Despite this setback, they maintained the top spot in the ODI ranking. However, the Men in Blue clinch the three matches of the ODI series against Australia, which puts them in the top spot, whereas the Men in Green slip to the second spot in the ODI rankings.
