Former India cricketer MS Dhoni plans to have a good time off from the cricket field. Notably, the wicketkeeper batter was spotted smoking a hookah at an event. In addition, MS Dhoni was spotted with a hookah pipe in his right hand while wearing a suit in an internet video. The specific event is unknown; however, it may have occurred during one of the New Year’s celebrations that MS Dhoni attended. The clip has gone viral with mixed reactions from the fans.

However, former Australia cricketer George Bailey revealed that the former India skipper used to enjoy smoking at the time. In addition, the former CSK star player shared some lesser-known facts about the legendary cricketer.

“He likes smoking a bit of the sheesha or the hookah. So, he quite often would set that up in his room, and it was very much open door policy. You would go in and quite often find a lot of younger players there. For India or lot of other cricket teams, it can be hierarchical, but he certainly broke that down,” George Bailey said.

Meanwhile, the former Australian star heaps praise on MS Dhoni and talks about his cricket mind, which makes him such a unique and exceptional cricketer. Notably, MS Dhoni is one of the best captains for India, having led his side to win all three major tournaments under his captaincy. However, after MS Dhoni, the Men in Blue are still searching for their first win in major events as they failed to win a single tournament under Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

“The greatest thing that I took from him was his ability to remain calm to impact the calmness of the team. With the chaos and whatever might be happening on the game on numerous occasions, when you saw him being so calm behind the wickets or with the bat in hand, you firmly believe that he’s got a plan,” he added further.
