Recently, a tragic incident of a cricket fans having a fight and it turning into murder came into light. Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu police has said that both consumed liquor. After a while, both had a heated argument. The offender was a stammerer and used to get body shamed by Vignesh often. The officials added that the victim compared the Bangalore franchise’s struggling performances to stammering which enraged Dhamaraj who, in turn, murdered his friend with a cricket bat.

“Both had consumed liquor. As per the initial investigation, Vignesh was supporting the Mumbai franchise in Indian T20 League while Dharmaraj was a Bangalore franchise supporter,” the local cops from Keelapalur were quoted as saying by News18.

“During the course of their debate, Vignesh had allegedly mocked the Bangalore team and Virat Kohli. Vignesh had the habit of body shaming Dharmaraj, who was a stammerer. On that day he had made some remarks comparing the Bangalore team to the speaking difficulty of Dharmaraj. This infuriated Dharmaraj who attacked Vignesh with a bottle and later hit him with a cricket bat on the head. Dharmaraj soon fled the spot,” the officials clarified further on the incident.
