Pakistan will be up against West Indies in the limited-over series starting on December 13 at the National Stadium in Karachi. The teams will clash in three ODIs and as many T20Is. The Babar Azam-led team is on a roll at the moment. The team exuded class in the 20-20 World Cup and managed to reach the semifinal of the showpiece event held in UAE and Oman.

Later, they dominated a hapless-looking Bangladesh and managed to beat them 3-0 in T20Is and 2-0 in Test matches. Pakistan have confidence and momentum and will look to end 2021 on high.

On the other hand, West Indies have had a disappointing year so far across formats. The two-time 20-20 World Cup winners bowed out of the tournament from the Group Stage. West Indies were also whitewashed in a two-match Test series against Sri Lanka recently.

They are also without the services of several senior players who have either pulled out of the tour or have been rested. Nonetheless, West Indies would be hoping to perform well with few youngsters onboard. Nicholas Pooran would be in charge for the T20I series and Shai Hope for the ODI series.
