In 164 innings, he has accumulated 5974 runs at an average of 42.07. This features a record 56 half-centuries in addition to 4 centuries. Shikhar Dhawan is the Indian player with most IPL fifties

The second international player in this record tally is AB de Villiers, who has 40 fifties in the IPL. He and Virat Kohli served as the Royal Challengers Bangalore team’s foundation. The Proteas player has a remarkable strike rate of 151.68 and has amassed 5162 runs in 170 innings.
