Ravi Shastri’s hilarious response, when asked to choose between Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, amuses netizens

Ravi Shastri is a name well known among cricket fans. He has been famous for lending voice to some of the most iconic moments of Indian cricket. Recently he grabbed the attention of his followers with his social media activities on Friday, May 20. The former all-rounder took to Twitter and made a splurge of posts that went viral very soon. He conducted a Q & A session that prompted some humorous answers from Shastri.

Notably, Shastri looked in a good mood and it was apparent from the dashing pictures that he had his party shoes on. While fans were flooding the microblogging sites with the #AskRavi tweets, Shastri gave humorous replies to some of the questions. One of the followers asked him to pick the between two of the modern greats Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. As Shastri has worked from close quarters with both the batters, it was expected that he will come up with an explanatory answer. He was in a funky mood and his reply to the question was evidence of the same.

“Jiski bhi party mei zada maze hai,”- replied Shastri. This reply soon went viral and left the netizens in splits. Meanwhile, another fan posted a sketch of Shastri and Tweeted- “Sir 2 ghante lagake apka ye sketch banaya hai…pls reply.” The portrait did not impress the former Indian all-rounder and he made it evident in a funny way by replying – “Please Mitaa de Yaar.”

Notably, Shastri is currently serving as a commentator in the Indian T20 League 2022. The tournament is fast approaching its business end with 68 of the 70 already completed. Three out of the four teams who will be playing in the playoffs have already been decided. While Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Lucknow are sitting pretty at the top of the table, it will be either Bangalore or Delhi who will be the fourth team in the playoffs. The fate of the two teams will be decided in the 69^th match between Mumbai and Delhi. If Delhi wins the match they will be making it to the playoffs, while if they lose Bangalore will be the team to play in the playoffs.
