Six teams aim to win PKL 10, players to watch out for in playoffs
With the league stage of the PKL 10 being concluded, the focus now shifts towards the playoffs. Six teams have qualified for the Knockout stages of the league. Jaipur Pink Panthers and Puneri Paltan, the finalists of the previous edition, qualified for the playoffs as the first two teams this time around as well. They have qualified directly for the semifinals of the league.
The other four teams that have qualified for the playoffs are Patna Pirates, Haryana Steelers, Dabangg Delhi K C, and Gujarat Giants. On the 26th of December, the elimination matches will begin. In the first match of the night, Dabangg Delhi KC will take on Patna Pirates. The winner of the Eliminator 1 will face Puneri Paltan in the first semifinal.
On the other hand, Gujarat Giants will take on Haryana Steelers in the 2nd semifinal. The winner of the Eliminator 2 will play Jaipur Pink Panthers on the 28th of February. The winner of both the semifinals will face each other in the final of the league, which is set to take place on the 1st of March. All the teams would be aiming to claim the ultimate glory.
Key players to watch out for in PKL 10 Playoffs
The playoffs will feature a lot of exciting players. For Dabangg Delhi K C, Ashu will be the key. His performances both as the raider and the skipper of the club will play a key role. For Patna Pirates, Krishan Dhull will be crucial. They can rely on Sachin as well, who would be valuable with his touch points. Parteek and Sonu Jaglan will be crucial for the success of Gujarat Giants along with Fazel Atrachali.
Siddharth Desai must have a great game for the Haryana Steelers. Jaipur Pink Panthers has a star-studded lineup. Their skipper and key raider, Arjun Deshwal, is one of the players to watch out for in the playoffs. Puneri Paltan has a more balanced lineup. Aslam Inamdar in the raiding department and Mohammadreza Shadloui Chianeh as the all-rounder will play a key role for Paltan.
