This game is remembered for Sachin Tendulkar’s only double hundred in ODI cricket. Meanwhile, only two months after plundering Sri Lanka with the bat, India hit South Africa for 401/3, thanks to the Master Blaster’s innings. Apart from him, Dinesh Karthik (79), Yusuf Pathan (36), and the then-skipper MS Dhoni (68*) provided support in murdering South Africa’s bowling. India won the game by 153 runs.
