Days after his ugly spat with Virat Kohli, Naveen-ul-Haq sat down for a funny conversation with his Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) teammate Avesh Khan and disclosed that he doesn’t like to sledge rival batter up front. During the LSG vs. Royal Challengers Bangalore game in Lucknow, Naveen, and Kohli got into an awful verbal argument in which he screamed something to Virat and the former RCB captain then targeted Naveen.
The incident took place in the 17th over of LSG‘s inning, and the two continued to argue as the game came to an end and everyone was shaking hands. Along with Gautam Gambhir, who was also involved in a heated dispute with Virat, Kohli, Naveen, and Gautam were all fined for their actions on the pitch. Days after the emotional exchange, Naveen and teammate pacer Avesh sat down for a lighthearted discussion in a video that Lucknow posted to their Twitter account.

Among the numerous questions they exchanged was one about sledging. The Afghanistan bowler admitted he doesn’t like to sledge rival batters upfront when asked about his favourite sledge in a game of cricket, whether it’s by Naveen or done against him. He claimed that it wasn’t his habit until sharing a humorous event from the highest-quality game. “I don’t sledge someone upfront, It’s not my habit,” said Naveen.
Following the fight on the pitch, Virat and Naveen both posted cryptic Instagram posts the next day, giving the impression that they were continuing their spat online.
The two of them appear to still be on good terms since Naveen uploaded an article that seemed to be a subtle jab at RCB following their loss to Mumbai Indians. In response, Kevin Hart, an American comedian, talked about not having grudges and moving on in life in a video Kohli shared on his stories.
