‘The entire world looks at Virat Kohli and Babar Azam as two of the best batters’ – Faheem Ashraf

Pakistan all-rounder Faheem Ashraf believes every aspiring cricketer looks up to Babar Azam and Virat Kohli because they are two of the best batters in world cricket at the moment. There is a constant comparison between Azam and Kohli. The former has had a terrific start to his international career. Initially, Azam blossomed in the white-ball formats but later he also managed to do well in Test cricket.

On the other hand, Kohli, who began his career in 2008, has established himself as the modern-day legend due to his astonishing achievements. He has also earned the tag of chase master due to his phenomenal ability to pace the innings well. There is always a debate about who is better between the two. Pakistan all-rounder Faheem Ashraf feels both players are the best in the world right now.

“The entire world looks at Virat Kohli and Babar Azam as two of the best batters in the world right now,” Faheem was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.

Azam scored 99 runs in the three innings against Bangladesh in the team’s 2-0 victory in Tests. He was brilliant with his captaincy moves and marshalled his bowling resources well

Meanwhile, Faheem scored 38 runs and managed to pick two wickets. Faheem has become an integral part of Pakistan set-up and has done remarkably well so far. The all-rounder has played 13 Tests, scoring 632 runs and picking 22 wickets.
